I work for q company in new York state ad live in SC , will I get credit for taxes paid in new york

    Yes, if you physically work in NY state as a non-resident and NY state taxes have been withheld from your wages. 

    Be sure to complete your non-resident NY return first and then work on your resident SC return.

    As you go through the SC return there will be a question/section related to credit for taxes paid to another state.  Since the NY state return is done, the numbers needed to claim the credit will most likely be filled in for you.  You just need to verify the entries.
