If I combine my state and federal can my state take from the federal and viseversa? also how to see if i get the eitc

Question 1:

No, you cannot have payments for the federal taken from the state or payments from the state taken from the federal. The IRS and the state taxing authorities process returns separately, so you do not have this option. 

Question 2:

1. Log in and open your return
2. Click Tax Tools (left side of screen)
3. Select Tools from the drop-down menu
4. Select View Tax Summary.

If you have already filed, then follow the directions below instead:

1. Log in and open your return.
2. Under Your tax returns & documents, select the tax year of the return.
3. Select Download/print return PDF.
