Is the house in CT a second home--like a vacation home?   Or do you use it as a rental property?   Do you work in CT at all, or just in NH?

If you're a resident of NH then you would only have to file a non-resident CT tax return if you had CT-source income.  Two common examples of CT-source income would be income from working in CT, or rental income from property located in CT.

If you have no CT-source income, you don't have to file a CT tax return.
