If I have used a solar tax credit for 2 years, is it over?

Not necessarily, if you’re referring to the federal tax benefit.

If you’ve previously claimed a solar credit and added more solar improvements to your home, you should be able to claim the credit on the new items.

If you’re referring to the carryover of a solar credit that hasn’t been completely exhausted in a previous tax year then, yes, you’re still able to claim any carryover.
