The Missouri state pension will not take out taxes for NM.

The income is reported on your New Mexico state income tax return.  You have to pay NM taxes on the income.

You need to pay income tax to the state you lived in when you received the payments. If in 2024 you lived in NM and MO, you need file part- year resident return for both states and allocate the income.

How do I allocate (split) income for a part-year state return?
