Question

If there is an error with residency dates on "Nonresident and Part-Year Resident" smartsheet, but the form won't allow me to edit and correct dates, how can I fix this?

Form automatically locked my CA residency dates as 01/01/2020 - 12/30/20, and my IL residency date starting at 12/31/20, but these dates are incorrect and any answer I put for Illinois residency date ending results in an error.

Did you indicate in your Personal Info/My Info at the start that you lived in two states, and gave the correct move date between them?

If the dates are already there in the CA interview, it's because they came from somewhere else so go find that.

Also, check the series of questions near the start of the CA interview where you are asked if you lived in CA all year, none of the year, did you move in or out of CA during the year, etc.? The way they are phrased, you can sometimes accidentally answer the wrong way.
