If you review your taxes, done them a couple of weeks ago, does it mess anything up

why is colorado still pending?

Even if you filed your federal and state returns at the same time, your state may not start processing your state return at the same time as the IRS processes the Federal return. Your state return may remain in pending status several days after your federal return has been accepted. Please see this TurboTax help article for more information.

The Colorado Department of Revenue website had a banner at the top until this week that stated:

 

The Department of Revenue is working diligently to start processing 2023 income tax returns. Please check back on February 15 for updated information. 

 

Since Colorado only started processing returns 3 days ago and has a backlog, you may want to wait another week or two before contacting the state.
