IL 1040-1000-1 prior year Adjusted Gross Income did not match; My Illinois return keeps getting rejected; twice; please help

Based on the Il-1040 instructions, your income starting point includes the federal adjusted gross income. Here is a link. Illinois 1040 instructions

If the base income is not working, try using the federal AGI as the number. If that doesn't work, there may be a possibility that Illinois did not process your return. If you did not have a refund or tax due amount, you may not know if the return was processed.. You would have to call the taxpayer assistance line in Illinois to find out. The number is 1-800-732-8866.
