IL Resident - Gambling Winnings in AZ (State Tax Filing)

Hello,

I've input my federal and IL (State) tax information.  TurboTax suggests filing AZ (Nonresident) state tax return due to the gambling winnings.  I purchased the additional AZ (Nonresident) state tax return form and started to fill it out.  When starting to go through the AZ state tax form, there is a section for "Federal Dependents" for review.  The form pulls up my dependent information for my child and ask:

"This person was...

     - An Arizona dependent

     - An Arizona dependent I do NOT want to take on my Arizona tax return"

Since our primary residence is IL, I'm not sure what to answer on this request.  For now I selected the second option but would like help from the experts.

Also, for the gambling income, where do I enter that winnings amount?  In the Arizona Income, it states for rents, royalties and all K-1's but I assume it would be in the "Other Income".   If there is a better place to add the gambling winnings, please let me know.

Is there anything else I should be aware of for the state taxes for the gambling winnings from AZ?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Arizona allows you to claim any dependent that qualifies as a dependent for federal purposes so you can claim your child on the nonresident AZ tax return.

See page 15 of Arizona Form 140NR

You gambling appears in Other Income. Enter the AZ amount.
