Question

Illinois claimed that my 2020 taxes (which I did through TurboTax) were done incorrectly)

I paid to have my taxes done this year - and my tax advisor believes the error is due to the fact that I moved to Florida mid-year and that income was not reported on another state return, so Illinois assumed things were done incorrectly.

I'm not understanding your question. If you believe your tax information is correct, you can send a letter explaining why you think your return was correct.

If you partially disagree with Illinois you can file an amended return.

If you believe TurboTax made a calculation error you can file an Accuracy Guarantee Claim.

How do I submit a claim under the TurboTax 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee or 100% Accurate, Expert Approved Guarantee?
