How can I change this with Turbotax?

I’m sure this sounds basic, but first, make sure that you’ve actually reported (or TurboTax imported from last year’s return) your state income tax refund on the federal return. You’ll find this on line 1 of Part I of your federal Schedule 1.

If everything looks good on your federal return, your best bet might be to clear your Indiana tax return and input it again.
