Inclusion of W2 for PA non-resident filing

I'm a VA resident and all my regular income is from VA sources. However, I sold a second home I had in PA (not a rental property) and must file as a PA non-resident for the capital gains on that sale. Must I submit my W2 and/or federal 1040 along with my PA non-resident PA-40?

No, the federal return is not a required attachment for Pennsylvania.  As well, since you are a non-resident and had no W-2 income sourced to Pennsylvania and no Pennsylvania tax withheld, you don't need to attach that either.  See: 2024 Pennsylvania Personal Income Tax Return Instructions
