Income Qualified Senior Housing Credit discrepancy
Hello,
My Intuit tax expert estimated my Senior Housing Tax Credit at $1000 (line 11 on the state return,) however Colorado disqualified it because I already get a partial tax exemption--this resulted in a loss of $1000 on my return. Question: My 2022 property tax was $1,999.17 out of which I got a tax reduction of $540.45. So, assuming that the original SHTC was correct ($1000,) is there any way I can get the difference added to my return? ($1000 - $540.45 = $459.55.)
