The reason given for ineligibility has to do with box 14 entries from w-2. The only thing in box 14 is "NY Taxable Wages", which i have as "Other-not on above list". TurboTax is telling me that "Public Employee Retirement contributions must be categorized as eitehr subject to tax or tax exempt". I am not a public employee, and have no such entree from box 14.
