Question

Iowa allows us to deduct 529 contributions, I was not prompted to enter this information on my state return. Where do I enter this?

Go back thru the IA interview again.

On the IA menu page, it is contained in the "Adjustments" section...start in thru there again, and on one of the pages is one called "Do You Have Any Personal Adjustments"....and there is a whole big list under it that includes:

" College Savings Iowa, or Iowa Advisor 529 Plan"

You need to say YES on  that page.
