I get this message that the Iowa Partnership return cannot be filed electronically. Is there no way to do this? Efile is mandatory for Iowa. How can we accomplish this with Turbo Tax

One reason your return can't be efiled right now is that a form on your return might not be available for efiling right now.  State and federal forms are released on different dates.  You can visit the following TurboTax help article to see if any of your forms are currently unavailable.

When will my individual tax forms be available in TurboTax?

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can update your program by following the on-screen instructions.

If you continue having issues, you can check some of our common solutions.  If your tax return can't be e-filed for some reason, TurboTax will let you know.

If your issue continues, contact us again and give us more details.

Did a little more digging on the Iowa DoR website regarding efile from TurboTax for Business. It seems TT is NOT approved to efile business returns. I spent 2 1/2 hrs. on the phone with TT support going over my return. They still insist I had an override in my data and that is why I could not efile.  VERY disappointed in TT. They should have known that from the start the software is not approved. Would have been nice to know before I paid for the state program that said "includes one state efile".

You can file an Iowa Partnership return by mail using TurboTax Business. The e-file option for this return is not available at this time.

The Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business confirms this in the title "print only."

Partnerships with gross receipts > $250k are mandatory efile. TurboTax does me absolutely no good.
