Question

Is there supposed to be a State ID number in box 15 for Florida even if my W-2 doesn't have one?

The app won't let me continue without filling the box 15 for FL state ID number but there isn't one since the state doesn't collect taxes on income. I tried re-entering manually and it still stops me.

Since Florida does not have a state personal income tax, you can leave the entries in boxes 15 to 20 blank when you enter your W-2 form into TurboTax.
