Question

It keep saying NY - CI Box 20 New York locality name "NY - Ci" is not among those accepted by the NY Dept.

Perhaps one of the NY folks knows for sure....(((IF they are Online anymore )))...  ( @maglib   @rjs   )

 

But if it is supposed to be for NY City taxes and withholding, try entering a simple "NYC" instead

Enter NYC in box 20 in TurboTax.


At the bottom of the screen where you enter your W-2, below boxes 18, 19, and 20, it says "Note: Enter NYC in box 20 for wages earned in New York City."
