It's not unusual for Alabama to sometimes show up as an irrelevant state in someone's return, because Alabama is the first state in the list of states.   If someone looks at the list of states on some screen, they may not scroll it all the way back to no entry.

In any case, go back to the Personal Info (My Info) section again.  If you get a summary screen, click EDIT by your name to get the first screens of the interview.   It will ask you what state you lived in on December 31, 2019.  Be sure that is correct.  And be sure you haven't indicated that you lived in a second state part of the year.

Then either continue on or go back to the summary screen.   In the topic "Other State Income" click EDIT.  A screen will ask you if you made money in any other state.  Be sure you have answered that screen correctly.
