Iv been homeless going on a year (living in my car) how do I claim that on my taxes ?? (Fed and IL State)

I'm I part reg or full time ?? IL dept of revenue - has threaten me about. Not paying because of my eye surgery (w/0 surgery I would be blind) so I had to pay my surgery out of pocket (IL DOR has didn't care)

    Very sorry for your difficult situation.   However, not sure what your tax questions are in regard to your living situation.  There is nothing to "claim" on your tax return about where you live.    If you prepare a tax return you will need to use an address where you can receive mail from the IRS or the state----can you use someone's address?   Or do you have a post office box?     

     

    It is not clear what your issue is with the IL DOR.   Please provide some details.
