Question

Lived full year resident in PA, partially worked half the year in Ohio. Do I have to file a return in Ohio when my state taxes went to PA?

No, you do not have to file a return for Ohio.  OH and PA have reciprocal agreements meaning that you only have to pay taxes to the state you live in not the state you work in.

In the personal info section, when it asks if you made money in another state, answer NO, per the reciprocal state instructions, on that page. This will prevent TurboTax from thinking you need to file an OH return.
