Hi,

I worked and stayed for company in PA till May15, 2023. I took a job in MA and still living in PA. I would commute to MA every week for 3 days (2 night/week) and stayed in hotel (no home in MA). Do I file taxes in PA as resident and MA as non-resident? Or do I need to file PA and MA taxes as part-time resident.

Thanks

Yes, you file one resident return for PA - - you lived in PA all year.   And then also file a MA non-resident return for the income you earned while physically present in MA.   Complete the MA non-resident return before you prepare the PA resident return.    Filing non-resident returns.   See this article and make sure you indicate that you earned money in another state (MA) in the personal information section.
