MA Office of Personnel Management pension

My wife has a pension from the OPM . It has a taxable amount in box 2a. Is this pension tax exempt on our MA income tax? On the MA form its line 3, and the type would be G, tax exempt. THanks.

While there is nothing from MA state that directly references OPM pensions, they do remark:

 

All retirement plan contributions and distributions that are excluded from federal gross income are also excluded from Massachusetts income for the plans below. See this LINK for details.
