What is the correct way to enter in the Massachusetts COVID-19 Essential Employee Premium Pay of $500 in the federal taxes.  What should it be called?  Trying to use TurboTax online for Military.  It currently is under other income and in the Grant box. I appears to be taxed for federal.  It is not taxable for State in MA but I am unable to correct this.  How is it corrected for state in the online version and is the Federal reporting correct under Grant in the  other 1099-G Income under the Grant?

Help appreciated.

Under MA current law, premium payments are not subject to state income tax but may be subject to federal income tax. Because the IRS reporting threshold for taxable grants is $600, no 1099-G will be issued from the Department of Revenue.  So if it is being taxed by the Federal it is correct.
