I am doing my friend's State Tax. He is a resident of Massachusetts. I inadvertently added New York & Virginia.
Now, it's showing that he is a non resident of both states. I would like to know how to remove these two states.

If you are using TurboTax Online, you can click on the trash can next to the states you need to delete. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, if you need to remove state returns that are on Your State Returns (not other installed states), click on the File menu and Remove State Returns.
