We may move so that we are living in NH but my wife will work in NY>

If that is the case does NY tax my income as well or not?

You'd only allocate your wife's income to be taxable to NY on the nonresident return.

Yes, if your wife works in New York you would have to report and pay the income tax to New York as a nonresident.  Nonresidents pay tax on income earned in the state.

Thanks but I am not sure of your answer.

My income is not from NY so do I still pay tax in NY for it if filing jointly as a nonresident?
