Medical Deduction - part year residency in Massachusetts
Majority of 2023, I lived in Florida. Preparing a part-year residency tax return for Massachusetts. It looks to me the entire medical expense being deducted on the Massachusetts tax return. I thought TurboTax would allocate based on % of days in Massachusetts. Maybe I'm missing something. Is there somewhere in TurboTax where I need to allocate the expenses? I allocated the income. Maybe because Florida doesn't have state income tax, full deduction is being taken on Massachusetts?
