Michigan State Return. How do I clear out a value incorrectly entered as a Contribution to MESP, MI 529 Advisor Plan and/or Michigan ABLE Account?

The correct value in my situation is 0, or leaving the field empty. TurboTax will not allow that, saying the Minimum value is 1.

The location to correct this in your Michigan (MI) return is as follows. The steps below should help you complete your MI return.

When you are in your MI return:

go to the page titled 'Here's the income that Michigan handles differently',
then scroll to Education to select 'Contribution to MI Education Savings Program'
Select Start or Revisit >
Delete any entry that may be in the box for amount contributed. Do not enter zero and if it's there remove it.
