Turbo Tax continues to provide an error message related to MN M1M line 33 subtract for one-time refund. I did not qualify or receive the refund/rebate so i left it blank and got an error message, then i input 0, and got the same message. My fed line 8 is negative bc of rental property. Does anyone have a solution or will i have to override and file by mail?

A solution is here so let's get to it.

You may have data stuck, here is how to fix that.

Desktop version:

  1. Delete the form
  2. Save your return while closing the program.
  3. Update the program
  4. Open
  5. Enter the information again.

If the program goes through with  no rebate, done. If the program still isn't letting you through the review, do this and you can still efile:

You are using the windows version and have FORMS mode. You should not need to override the program since line 33 has a pop-up box for entry.  Open it up, add rebate for zero. The exclamation mark goes away and you should be able to get through review.
