Minnesota Property Tax Refund box

I am trying to skip the Property Tax refund part because the county doesn't send the statements out until March but every time I uncheck the box it still brings me to the Property Tax refund page again. I have tried deleting the state returns and starting over and it still does it.

TurboTax Premier Online

This form will not be sent with your income tax return.

Instead, it will print out if the box is still checked when you process and pay for your state tax return.

If you have it unchecked immediately before processing your tax returns for filing, it should not generate the form when you file your state income tax return.

I am encountering the same issue. Your response directs us to uncheck the box before filing, but we cannot uncheck the box. There is no response when I try to do that. I don't want to file the return with a blank Form M1PR, as I will need to file that Form later, when I receive my property tax statement in late March.

Once you have entered information the program believes is important, it holds on to the information so we have to make it forget.

Return to the state:

Go through until you reach Other Forms You May Need
Property Tax refund box should be checked
continue
Renter checked
continue
Select NO
Once it says you are not eligible, click the back button,
deselect renter. Click back
deselect the box for Property Tax Refund.

If there is any other information you entered into the program, delete it from this section the same way, backwards.

You need everything to be blank. Now it is and your forms are safe until you come back later to fill them in and send them off.
