Mississippi state tax still in received/pending status

So Mississippi just received my tax documents for them through efile a few days ago it’s been over 48 hours and still is not accepted. Who can I contact to find out more information? Also have they even started with efile yet is that why it’s taking long?

The IRS won't begin processing tax returns until January 29.

Although state returns can be e-filed with your federal return (or after your federal return has already been accepted), it's no longer possible to e-file state returns before the federal.

This adds an extra layer of security to all e-filed state returns. This also means you won't be able to e-file your state if your federal return was, or will be, paper-filed.
