Question

Moved to Guam in November. Got a W-2 and a W-2GU. I showed partial residency on IRS return but never was able to enter GU earnings - where does this go?

US citizens and residents who are not bona fide residents of Guam will file a US tax return.

Prepare Form 5074 if necessary to report your Guam income. You will have to use the IRS fill-in forms and attach this to a return that you will mail in.

To enter your W-2GU, change the address type on the W-2 screen from U.S. address to U.S. Possession and enter the Guam address

If you are not including a check or money order, send your U.S. tax return and all attachments (including Form 5074) to:

Department of the Treasury

Internal Revenue Service

Austin, TX 73301-0215

USA

If you are including a check or a money order, send your U.S. tax return and all attachments (including Form 5074) to:

Internal Revenue Service

P.O. Box 1303

Charlotte, NC 28201-1303

USA
