My California return deducts state and local taxes paid to determine my state deductions. Can someone please explain the figure used?

How do I calculate my California state and local taxes paid shown on my state return since the figure doesn't match the sum of my W-2 and 1099 withholding?

State and local taxes paid are:

any state withholding from your paychecks, retirement checks, unemployment checks, etc.

a state tax due you paid last year

any state estimated tax payments you made

any local taxes withheld on your checks like SDI in box 14 or 19 on your W2

VolvoGirl answered my initial question re. the calculation of state and local taxes paid for itemizing this deduction.Thank you, VolvoGirl for your prompt and clear answer. However, my issue became more complicated as I discovered that Turbo Tax software entered 2019 state withholding amounts and 2019 state tax due/paid with the return (in 2020) twice into my return worksheets and state tax filing. However, I have not been able to get an answer for how to correct these computer errors brought forward from my 2019 records into my 2020 returns.  At the moment, I am very unhappy with Turbo Tax.
