My efile was rejected for some reason it is asking for my AGI but we filed joint return I don't have one just for me if I put in our joint AGI it is rejected !!

My efile was rejected for some reason it is asking for my AGI but we filed joint return I don't have one just for me if I put in our joint AGI it is rejected !!

    If you filed a joint return for 2023 the AGI is the same for each of you.  Use the amount from line 11 of your 2023 return.

    If the amount from the 2023 federal tax return Form 1040 Line 11 for the 2023 is being rejected by the IRS, then there is a good possibility that the IRS does not have your 2023 AGI in their database.

     

    Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2023 AGI and e-file again.
