Did you physically work in NC?  If so, then you must file both a non-resident NC tax return on which you report your NC earnings, along with your home state GA return on which you report ALL your income, including that from NC.  In this situation, you'll be able to claim a credit on your GA return for the taxes paid to NC on the income taxed by both states, so you won't be double-taxed.

In TurboTax, complete the non-resident state return before you do your resident state return, so that the program can calculate and apply the credit.
