my employer withheld ct tax as i used to live there however, i lived in massachusetts all year how do i show this on my return to get it back

    You need to file nonresident CT return. 

     

    • If you worked in CT but did not live there, only report the income attributable to the nonresident state.
    • If preparing a nonresident return solely to recover erroneous tax withholdings, enter 0 on the screen that asks for the amount of income earned in that state.
