My husband and I maintained separate residences in New Jersey. Can we claim both as our prinicpal residence for NJ tax return?

    The IRS and State of New Jersey is very clear about this and they state that a married couple, or anyone else for that matter, can only have one principal residence, (main home).  For further reading on this subject, please see the Links below:
