Turbo Tax says if I earned income in Nevada, then I select "no, i did not earn income in another state." In fact, Nevada isn't even an option to select for "another state." But I know I must owe CA state tax on that income. I can't find any place to enter my wages in order to calculate what I owe California

Once you've chosen California as your resident state, your income will automatically flow from your federal return to your California return. You won't need to do anything special to calculate your California tax.
