Question

My W2 form show I paid State taxes in Illinois and Missouri. Is this the information that I report under Form MO-2NR for Nonresident Individual Partners?

On the W2, it has both Illnois and Missouri employers ID number tax withheld in box 14. Should I put this number in my MO-NR box?

Yes, Form MO-2NR is to be given to each partner or shareholder who is subject to withholding. Issue Form MO-2NR, even if no tax is withheld or there is an exemption certificate on file. 

 

Do not issue a Form MO-2NR to a partner or shareholder who includes their Missouri income on a composite return.
