Does NC allow deductions for self employment retirement contributions? Having trouble locating this?

There is not a specific deduction or adjustment on the North Carolina state tax return for self-employed retirement contributions.

The North Carolina tax return starts with your Federal Adjusted Gross Income (AGI), which has already taken into account any tax deduction you would receive for contributing to a self-employed retirement plan.
