Question

Need to know where to enter 529 contributions in IL. Not being prompted.

I have been scouring the internet to figure this out and getting really frustrated! Anyone know how I can do this in Turbotax?

You will come to a screen titled Here is the income Illinois handles differently when you go through the IL return.    Scroll down and click start next to Education.  

 

1st option is - - If you added money to a college savings pool or pre-paid tuition program, this applies to you. This includes Bright Start and Bright Directions college savings pools and College Illinois pre-paid tuition programs.

 

2nd option is - - If you added money to an Illinois ABLE program, this applies to you.
