New Jersey medical insurance deduction

The New Jersey state adjustments section asks about medical expenses, including "medical insurance premiums included in your NJ wages." In addition to my employer provided medical insurance that I pay pre-tax premium, I noticed that my paycheck has a Group Term Life insurance plan that I pay (shows up as GTL). I also have a "long term disability" insurance item in my paycheck.

For the NJ medical expenses, can I add these payments for either/both of these insurances that appear in my paycheck?

Thanks!

No, for the New Jersey medical insurance deduction, you cannot include the life insurance or long term disability premiums.  The Life Insurance does not count as it is a death benefit not for medical payments; the long term disability is considered a wage replacement.  New jersey looks for payments that are directly related to medical expenses.
