New York and 1099-NEC for a Texas Resident

I am paid as a 1099-NEC from a company with offices in New York. But I live in Texas full time. This company has CEOs and executives who live in Israel and employees and contractors in many other countries. But the billing statements I receive are addressed from New York City.
Do I need to pay New York State Income tax as a non resident?
My taxable income is around 70,000 and I would appreciate not sending to NYC considering I am not living there.

If you live and work in Texas as a contractor for a company based in New York, your income is sourced in Texas and you don't need to file a NY state tax or pay NY taxes.

Do I need to pay New York State Income tax as a non resident?  No. You are a self-employed Texan who does not pay a state tax.
