Question

NJ Medical expense deduction

I'm noticing what I believe to be an error in the NJ Turbo tax.  While looking at medical expenses and deductions, it is only allowing expenses that are greater that 7.5% of your income.  Per the NJ.gov website, anything greater that 2% is deductible.  Is this a mistake, how can I work around it?

No New Jersey has been released yet in TurboTax, so it is likely that what you are seeing is the code from 2022.

Most NJ forms are currently scheduled to be released on 1/31/24, but this can change. Please follow the State Forms Availability page.
