Question

NJ requiring for me mail in my form

Because of an inheritance on a stock portfolio and sale at a loss NJ is requiring us to mail in our form this year. Turbo Tax is a bit vague with directions on what forms are necessary for us to mail in with it. What forms besides my W-2 should we send?

The program lets you select the forms you want to print. If you select tax forms, you will get what needs to be mailed. If you select all forms, then you get the extra worksheets and things needed for your tax file; but, not mailing. The program should give you mailing instructions.

    1. Print the tax forms
    2. Sign and date the return
    3. Attach w2's any other forms required
    4. Mail with tracking, no signature required.
    5. Mail by the deadline, the postmark date is what matters.
