My wife W2 for NJ has different wages on Box 1 98K and Box 16 110k.
Question is how to take deduction or get higher refund? Also when I enter both figures as is I get error upon smart check at the end. I like to know is there any deduction I need to file. Don't want to pay higher taxes to NJ or Federal. Do I enter same amount in both boxes or any one has better answer?
