Non-Resident Filing for a Pension Distribution from Another State?

I currently live in UT but used to live and work in AZ. In 2020, while living in UT, I cashed out the pension with my old AZ employer (the Arizona State Retirement System) and moved it to a rollover IRA. The money was taxed at the time of the distribution. Do I need to file a non-resident tax return with AZ in addition to my UT state tax return?

No, you do not need to file a nonresident tax return for Arizona.  Federal law states that you only have to report retirement income in your resident state, even if you earned it in another state.  Since it was a rollover, there is no tax due reagrdless.
