Non-Resident who works in East Lansing but my spouse doesn't - Does my spouse need to fill out the East Lansing City Tax Form?

    No. Your spouse does not have to file an East Lansing income tax return if she did not live or work in East Lansing.

     

    East Lansing says, "Every resident, nonresident, or part-year resident of East Lansing, including renters, who had a gross income of $600.00 or more must
    complete and file a return, even if you're not required to file a Federal return."

     

    East Lansing has extended the filing deadline for city returns to June 1.
