Not able to update Pension Income

When I installed TT 2023,  I was not able to add my pension and SSA information with the update link note "Available Dec 7".   I checked back today and the note has updated to "Available Dec 21".   I have IRA withdrawal decisions I have to make before the 31st or the opportunity goes away.  Why don't you let me enter "what if" numbers so I can get an idea what I can withdraw without a penalty and let the update after the 21st correct what might be affected?  The blocking of income entries make me want to do my taxes another way.

    You can use Forms mode to enter pension income on the Form 1099-R.  Click on Forms.  When in Forms mode click on Open Form at the top left of the screen.  Type in 1099-R and click to open the form.  Enter your information and then go back to the step-by-step interview.

     

    To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099

    Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
    Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
    Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
    Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
    On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button
