I worked for a local school district and recently retired. This is my first 1099-R. from them.
The question about the source of the income. Is this considered New York state and city education ( i am not in NY city) or is this OTHER pensions of NYS and Local Government? The pension is from the NYS Teachers Union I belonged to.
